Default 2004 5.4l codes

Under quick acceleration my check engine light flashes for a bit and the truck will shutter. After about 30 seconds it goes away and the truck runs fine. Hooked it up to a code reader and the only codes that come up are p1288 (cylender head temp sensor) and p1184 (oil temp sensor) truck does not appear to be running hot when this happens. Any ideas?

Spark plugs only have about 40,000 on them. So maybe a coil pack going out?

Replaced the plugs with Motorcraft that is all I replaced. What do you mean by boots and springs? The rubber that goes over the plug on the coil pack?

yes... and there is a spring inside that the voltage travels on from the COP to the plug.
