Default 2.5 Leveling Kit - Please help

I'm running a 2.5 leveling kit on my 2006 f150 xl, regular cab long bed 2wd. (Yes, like a construction truck) I was wondering what the biggest tire is on my stock 17s, I wouldn't mind doing a small bit of trimming if needed. Please do not direct me to the tire sizing chart thread because some people have different opinions and I would like to hear what you guys think. Also, what are some mods you guys think that I should do to the truck to make it look sweet and to get away from the stereotypical "construction truck" look?

With 2wd and a leveling kit I'm pretty sure the biggest you'll wanna tuck up there is 33" tires.

As far as looks go, I was faced with the same dilemma. I have an XL reg cab also, however mine has the 6.5' bed and 4x4. I put some bfg mt's on it and plastidipped my rims. I also wired up 4 halogen off-road lights on a bar off the front bumper. I am installing a leveling kit I just got today and tinting the windows in the coming weeks. I put a bug deflector on it too.

As far as interior goes, I swapped out the am/fm only stock head unit for a stock head unit out of an XLT with a CD player and wired in an aux chord. Although an XL, mine also came with power windows, mirrors, and locks from the factory. I will also be adding cruise control soon here.
