Default 2.5" Leveling Kit

Proud owner of a new/used 2008 Super Crew. I'm fairly mechanically inclined and would like to install a leveling kit on the front end. I plan on keeping the stock tires and 17" rims on the truck. I'm looking for a recommendation on the best product for the money and one that is fairly easy to install.....thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would go with the 2" autospring kit. Easy to install and cost only $80 to 100 buck's depending on where you buy it. I have a 2 1/2" Daystar kit that was a lot harder to install and had to take it to an offroad shop to use their spring compressor. After you level your truck you can run some 285 or 295x70x17's tires easily on your stock wheel's. And by they way congrat's on the new truck!

if you get the kit that bolts on top of the spring it is very easy to put on. it hook me about 45 mins to put mine on my 08 with air tools a jack and jack stands, i have the 2.5 leveling kit and i think my truck sits perfect.

I have the autospring 2" kit and it was a breeze to put on. Like howsabeer, I think mine looks perfect, different for different people.

I just did mine yesterday one side was easy took 20 mins by myself. On the other side the bolt was bent on the upper a arm and had to cut that bolt off, I have no idea how it bent don't ask me I bought it w/ 18k on it, although I did find some animal hair inside the wheel well looked like deer?! so I had to spend an hour trying to get that bolt off and eventually had to cut it off and by an entire new a arm 115 bucks. but all in all it looks a lot better i have a couple pics on my profile.

Hope you do OK with the install. I'd almost bet not to far behind will be a set of larger tires, say some 285 or 295x70's that will fill in the wheelwell's afterward's. My truck after leveling made my stock tires looked kinda lost in the wheelwell's!
