Default 18" tires

what is the widest/biggest tire I dare put on the factory rim 18"x 71/2. I have a 2" level kit on a 4x4. I was thinking BFGs 305/65/18. Might be too wide? Or BFGs 285/65/18? 305s are 33.5 and 285s are 32.5. Height is ok just wondering about the width on stock rim?

You can actually fit 35x12.50's on there. Some tire shops though won't put a 12.50 tire on the stock wheel saying it won't fit. Plenty of guys running that setup to know that it does indeed work.

295's without trimming. Do a search on here. The tire question is asked 3 or 4 times a day..

The 305/65/18 recommends a 8.5-11" wide rim. You probably can get away with it but may get an uneven wear pattern. The BFG T/A KO 285/65/18 is 32.7" where the 305 is 33.7". The 285 recommended rim is 8-10" think about this size.
