-12 offset??

-12 offset??
I have a 07 f150 2wd. I can get a great deal on 18x9 wheels with a -12 offset. I like the look of wheels sticking out the fenders, I just don't know if these will stick out too much and look bad with the tires I will be getting (275/70r18).
Does anyone have pics of a set up with -12 offset?
Also, will I need to get a level for these? Trimming?

I've got 20x9 with -12 offset (4.5 backspace). Tires stick out about 1-1/4". 2008 4x4. If I get time to find a pic, I'll post one later. Not the best angle in my avi, but you might get some idea from it.

I have a 2008 2wd SCREW and I've been researching tire and wheel fitment for weeks. First, look at the sticky thread on tire fitment. A 2wd truck can take ip to 33" tires if you use a leveling kit and buy wheels with proper backspace. The sticky thread gives you the parameters.
275/70r18 tires are over 33", so they may rub. Some guys run 285/65r18 tires (which are slightly under 33") on their 2wd with level and it works great.
With -12 offset you are at the extreme for what works on a 2wd with just a leveling kit and 33's, and you run even more risk of rubbing with the 275/70's.
