Default 09 suspension on 05??

Sorry if this has been answered, but will suspension upgrades for an 09 fit on my 05? If not what is the difference I feel like this could be a learning moment for me. Thanks

Not sure about the front, but the 09+ rear leafs are longer and will not fit.

How many miles on the truck? 2009 suspension parts are pretty old at this point and for all the work, need of an alignment, etc, you’d be way better off buying new coilovers and getting Moog parts.

I've seen some conflicting info on this. People have done Raptor suspension swaps, which tells me its doable, but I wouldn't bet on anything except the lower control arm to be bolt on. When the 09's came out there was a lot of guys switching out the lower control arms on their new trucks for the aluminum ones off the 04-08 model. On the rear, the leaf springs will not fit, the assembly is too long, however the shocks will fit no problem. Just keep in mind you'll need around a 1" lift with either a block or springs in the back for them to perform optimally. The rear shocks on the 09+ are about an inch longer at full extension.
