Default 09+ bed swap

O i have a 06 f-150 fx4 with the style side and was wondering if anyone knew if the 09+ beds would line up with factory holes on my truck? Any opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There was a post on here a few months ago from a guy asking the same thing. Someone posted a photo of a truck with a newer bed on it. Bottom line, it is do-able and looks pretty good. Do a search and a couple months back you will find it.

I can't remember where that post was neither. There was a pic of a white one. Looks pretty good until you take a second glance at it, and see the difference in the body lines above the fenders.
I think it was in the 04-08 pic thread. Maybe i can find it.

Yes it fits, thats my truck in the above link. it was a direct bolt on other than the light harness and gas filler neck. I had to cut off the plug on my old bed for the lights and wire it into the new harness with weather proof butt connecters. as far as the filler neck went I just drilled a few new holes in the new beds plastic bezel and used some stainless nuts and bolts to hold the original neck to it. works just the same as original. I have gotten used to the look of the wheel wells and dont even notice it anymore. anyone who sees the truck always assumes its a 09 up.
