Default 08 no start

Have an 08 with 40,000 miles thats been sitting for about a week and it started fine and ran for about 5 minutes then pluged in the edge cts that i had been been running for a while and the truck died and will not start. Turns over will not start. Tried plugging and unplugging the cts many times along with disconnecting the battery. Any ideas would be great.

Three things needed for an engine, fuel, air and spark.

Put a shot of starter fluid in the intake, if it runs on the starting fluid you've isolated the issue. If it's a no fuel issue, the FPDM is a likely culprit.

Not at the trk now but wanted to spray alittle carb cleaner and do the same thing beacuse it seems like it getting no fuel(sputters a bit). Opened the gas cap and heard the relay and i belive the pump. Just was not sure if this was a common problem or not with any body eles.

Very common problem.

The driver module for the fuel pump corrodes and dies, and can lead to all sorts of squirrely issues, sometimes with codes, sometimes without.
