Don't usually like to ask for help but I have a few issues that I am having a difficult time resolving on my own... so who better to ask than other Built tough Ford F150 owners! Tried over and over again to get my factory installed remote start to engage with no luck... radio and interior lights come on then horn honks 5 times, gauges go haywire... then nothing! Tried to find reset with no luck. Secondly when I start my rig I get a rattle somewhat reminiscent of a diesel...drives me nuts! Think it could be a back pressure oil filter issue but not sure. And least but not last...my truck seems to sound like it has a lifter rattle which gets worse the higher the temp outside gets, put it in rev a few days ago to back into my drive at 30 degrees outside and sounded like woodpeckers under the hood! Manifold leak? Love my truck...but need help guys, sick of getting robbed by guys with bogus diagnoses. Any help or hints will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, HarleyWilly
