got me a 'new' 06 f150 flareside... just found out tonite the door unlock cylinder doesnt work... i just sold a 05... that door cylinder lock didnt work... !!! ??? do all fords have bad door unlock cylinders... ??? the fob works... so im good unless the battery dies... anyway... ive searched all over the web tryin to find the entry code location... they say under the passenger kick panel... it aint there... then they say behind the back seat rest... i aint found the elusive release tabs yet for the back rest... ive felt and searched... just aint found em yet... anyway... is there an easier way to find the freekin entry code other than tearin the truck all to pieces... ???
Probably behind the back of rear seat... there’s a few youtube vids to help... if you got lucky enough and have the owners manual, there may be a white card in there with the number on it.
Alternatively you can take a trip to the dealership and they can tell you... Gonna cost a service fee though.

First you need to make sure you remove the middlele seat belt shielding from the seat back.
then It takes some patience and fiddling. You need a long flat screwdriver like 12" shank and once you get the first side released you need to jam something in the gap or have a helper to hold the back up while you release the other side.
I've done it a couple times it gets easier that first time is the hardest. You need to get the screwdriver just inboard of the car seat latch anchor and above the metal tube inside the seat back to get it.
