My 2006 FX4 had the same problem on the passenger's side. I bought it with 32K on it and by 33K the window switch wouldn't work. I took it out and cleaned it and it worked for a couple days but it went out again so I took it into Ford. It was still under warranty so they did it for free but if you have to buy it you can find a new one for $50-$60 and it will take 10 minutes or less to install.

go get the pod from ford for 70 $ and pop that cover off change the switches out then bam your done i did it in about 3 minutes its easy and problem solved. good luck

i know this post may be a day late (or years). my switches went out and i've finally had it.

found the pod on Used Auto Parts Live (not sure if i can post a link to them or not).

the pod cost $77. i tried all the local salvage yards, they had nothing. so if anyone is still looking for a pod or switch, try UAPL.
