Default 05 king ranch stutter

My 05 F150 has started to miss/stutter when I accelerate or go up a hill. I have hooked it up to a code reader/ obd ll diagnostic reader, and it doesn't show a code, and the check engine light has never come on. The O2 sensor doesn't appear to detect any problem.
The transmission torque converter locks and unlocks as normal the fluid is clean. The rear has no appreiciable noise coming from it. I had the spark plugs changed fifteen thousand miles ago, and at the time they replaced one fuel injector under warranty. I have never had the injection system maintenanced, but do change filters and oil regularly.
I have the 5.4 engine. For some reason I suspect the injectors, but don't know why since I can't seem to isolate or get any diagnostic indication they are the issue. I have used a lucas fuel system cleaner the past two tanks of fuel, and it seems to have helped. ( could be in my head ). Any suggestions?

hope this can help you a bit, theres TSB's out about the coil's and the rear pinion angle. i'd start with checking for spark at the plugs

Default stutter

I think I have found the cause for my engine stutter. After some analysis I noticed the voltages of my TPS were directly affected when the stutter took place. I went to replace the TSP ( $59.00) with an aftermarket part, and the truck would not start. I put my old part back into the system and the vehicle starts. I called my ford dealership parts department and they told me the sensor is not avilable separately, and I need to replace the entire throttle body. ( $ 298.00 ) when I go to the aftermarket vendors they all list this part, and no one has suggested that the entire throttle body needs replacement, but I have tried two of the aftermarket sensors ( one marked Fomoco) and when installed my 2005 f 150 king ranch won't start or run. has anyone else encountered this problem, and know the solution?

Thanks turkeyhunter. My ford dealership called me back and said they offer a DY1164 throttle position sensor, but from what I read on line I think you may be correct. What in 2004-05 causes the replacement of the entire assembly. Is the TPS wired into another component of the throttle body?
