i just bought a 05 fx4 a couple of weeks ago, love the truck. anyways i was looking through a few posts and i was looking for other fx4s and noticed that they had floor shifters, mine has a colum shifter. then i googled 05 fx4s and only saw floor shifters. is it an option on the truck or is mine just f*cked up. i sure mine had the floor one, it looks really nice

 

I believe it's an option. So yours is likely rare..

There was a guy who just posted that found a 04-08 Lariat with the front seat that folds down and it has the column shifter.

 

i kinda wish mine had the floor shifter but then im kinda glad it doesnt. i love the way it looks but i really like having the available seat in front if i need it.

 

Ya the bench seat with the fold down armrest is nice. My 03' Lariat FX4 has bucket seats and center console. I LOVE IT. But, I also kinda wish I had the fold down console so I can fit more girls. HAHA.

 

My 05 FX4 has the column shifter as well, I like it better
