Default 05 f150 suspension feels loose

05 5.4 lariat. My suspension feels loose and a bit spongy. I replaced shocks and upper control arms and tie rod ends about 2 years ago. Any help on how to figure where to start looking for the problem would be appreciate it. I would like to fix it myself because I cant afford to take it to a shop right now.

Sounds like younreplaced the front struts too? The only things left are leaf springs and coil springs. You may want to look at the shackles for rot too while you’re poking around.

I replaced front and rear with monroe. the front were coil overs, Every time I go over a speed bump it swings from side to side.

Something simple to check, would be tire pressure and sway bar bushings.

If it’s swaying over a speed bump, you might want to check the body mounts too.

Default Sway bar bushings and Ball joints

I think I put a greaseable moog ball joint on mine . I forget the things that attach the sway are called ?? LINKS . Been a long time I did them all at once then had it aligned . I did learn to put hub at ride height before torquing down on strut bushing so it would not tear rubber . I forget but its got a high torque on it . I would look at all the bushings to see if any torn . Recheck all torque points . If this is RWD that wheel bearing nut is one time use and torqued to 295 pounds . I have a 300 pound one but if not there is a method to come close .
I would hate to see that nut come off going down the road .
