Default 05 cd player in a 2011

My buddy has a 2011 f250 with just a basic radio. I have an 05 f150 6 disc changer I'd like to give him. We took his out but connection doesn't fit. I wonder if there is an adapter or a way we can make it work. Thanks!!

I don't think the wiring would be a problem, but are the dimensions of the stereo units the same? Will it fit? I think that's all you'll need to really worry about. You can find the stereo wiring diagrams by googling the year and matching it up.

Yeah it fits perfect. There is only one connection from his truck and it fits but my cd player has two places for connection. cd player works but no display. Radio does not

That's what I mean, you can look at the wiring diagrams online and pick up an aftermarket deck harness and splice away.
