small update.. took it to ford they told me i need 2 new vct solenids, even though they were new in august or something, they quoted me $500 for parts $500 for labour... apparently a 5 hour job... needless to say i bought two ford vcts $95 each and changed them at home in under half an hour... well no difference whatsoever.. any other ideas?

yeah, thought about it.. but took it to my mechanic see what he comes up with, only $60 an hour instead of $105.. hes convinced i need an engine.. but he hasnt looked at it yet

so my mechanic looked at it and says i have low oil pressure. he says my rear main seal is leaking and i need a rebuild or a new/used engine. what are the chances it could just be my oil pump an/or pick up?
