05 4x4 Lariat 5.4L with 107k - would you buy?
Found an 05 at the local ford dealership. 4x4 Lariat with the 5.4L. Forest green and tan. The interior is flawless. The exterior is perfect as well.....no cab corner rot, not one single dent. Crawled under the truck and it looks brand new. Frame still has the factory paint, no rust. This truck has never been off asphalt. The truck runs great. Small ticking when engine is cold but quickly goes away.....injector noise I think???? So, would you guys ever consider buying a truck with this many miles?

I'd consider it for sure. The big question is, How Much?

I think that sounds like a steal if its a good price no rust on the frame here in Missouri is as rare as can be! I would buy it. Mine has more miles I bought it with 112k

They just took it in on trade when I stopped in.....only been in their possession about 2 hours. One owner truck. They didn't even have a chance to run it through their shop, and I requested that they don't. They let me drive it for the weekend. Since they haven't ran it through the shop they don't know exactly what it will be priced at exactly but the salesman said it would be around $15k and likely would not exceed $16k. I am going to negotiate a tune-up.

Bought my 2001 f150 Lariat little more than a month ago with 68,000 original miles on it and in immaculate condition inside and outside. It came with the carfax which showed one owner and the prior owners name was in the glove compartment also so called him before anything else. He was 87 and had decided to sell it because of not using it that much and his medical bills. Now I probably spent some more than I should have but all the maintenance was current with new tires and brakes plus the overall condition it was in so to me I got a deal as I am 70 and this will probably be my last truck. So a 2005 with 107,000 miles is not far out of line and if you check it out as much as you can the deal just might be there.
