Default 04 Stock radio AUX input

I'd like to add an AUX cable to my stock radio. Anyone know where i can find the part, and how to do it?

I have a PIE adapter that will do exactly what you need. I just upgraded my stereo and am no longer using it. If ur interested I'll ship it to you for $25.

The only way to do it with a stock radio is to replace it with an 07+ unit. Then you can add the dash tray and harness with the 3.5mm audio jack to complete the aux input.

Ebay is your best choice short of local salvage yards, I purchased a mint condition 08 unit for $80 shipped off of ebay.

IMO it's not worth putting any money into a stock radio when you can get a brand new one with aux and USB for around 100

He is probably like me and likes the stock radio look.

Aftermarket HUs with different light colors and trim that doesn't match your dash just look odd to me. The ones that do look close to stock are super expensive from what I've seen.

Plus they make your truck a bigger target for theft I feel like. Might only be a $100 HU but they might think it's $1000. I could just be paranoid though as the stock units themselves are fairly valuable.

Had one on my 05 at one time. It worked great. That's a hell of a deal. It was 150 new. Someone needs to jump on that.

I see what y'all are saying, nothing wrong with wanting a stock look just love the aux and USB in mine. I'm always paranoid of my stuff in my truck getting stolen as well

I used a similar interface to add an Aux input to my stock Lariat 2004 system. The info above about a 2006 audio system being required is not correct.

You still got it? 'Cause I'd be interested in buying it.
