04 PATS delete, no cluster lights, windows, radio, wipers
I found a prior question on this and no real answers at this prior post..... https://www.f150forum.com/f4/help-no...-radio-353591/
I am in a similar boat. We just had issues with the truck not starting and troubleshooting led me to thinking it was the PATS system. Sent the PCM in and had it deleted, starts and runs fine now, however.....
We are getting codes B1870 (Airbag Circuit Short to Battery), P0462-FF (Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Voltage). Also had a P1000-FF which has been on a while.
Background, I have done the typical timing chain valve job previously (it's a 5.4), the passenger exhaust manifold and also repaired the bad ground issue by the fuse panel inside where it rusted apart. The truck did not have fog lights mounted, so that was the last thing we worked on before these latest issues. The issues seemed to start following the plugging in of those lights. We had installed a few interior LED lights which I have read can lead to issues. Those are now removed. Fuses check good. We have also had a battery drain recently while waiting for the PCM to return.....not sure the source. So.......where to start.
I have seen that there are issues with the cluster but I am unsure if that would impact the various things I am seeing. The impact sensor appears to be unavailable for some time now. Suggestions as to where to start? Thank you.

So I was able to find an impact sensor (airbag circuit) at a local junkyard and for $15.00, I installed it and was able to clear the code for that issue. We also sent the cluster in to be gone over/repaired/updated. After getting it back and installing it, the remaining issues appear to be resolved. For what it's worth.....
