Default 04 headliner

I have an 04 150, Does anyone have experience removing the headliner to replacd the dome swithes and light unit. My truck also has a moonroof and from looking at the dome light and switch package seems the only way to replace this unit is by removing the headliner and getting to this from the back ?

I've replaced all of the dome and map lights, too remove both of them up just pull down and eventually they should disconnect from the headliner.

Default Thanks

When I tryed to pull down .. seemed like it was hooked in from the back so I can also install the new dome light and switches from below without removing the headliner Thanks

Are you reffering to the front map lights as feeling like they are hooked from the back?

Here is what I did to get a better hold of the assembly.

Then use both hands and pull from here.

By the time I got to that that stage (^) I was pretty pissed off, so you might have to pull pretty hard.

If I remember correctly I had to almost slide it back into place from front to back to get it to go in the slots, thats probably why you are feeling that it is hooked from the back. So, you might wanna try pulling down towards the dash and front parts of the truck, just to make it easier.

Once the assembly "Lets go" from the headliner don't pull to much b/c it is being held from the wiring.
