04 fx4
Just bought a beautiful yellow 04 fx4. 5.4 150xxx miles. A single owner. I love this truck but I have been reading about the cam phasers and bad motors. Should I be freaking out or is this not a major issue. This truck as of now is flawless and I will be posting pics soon.

5.4s aren't bad. Just never go over 3000 miles without changing the oil. Do regular maintenance and you will be fine. My truck had 163,000 miles and the phasers have rattled since the day I bought it. Bought it with 140,000 miles.
