Not really man. I lined each one up with the grooves in the roof. Then used a straight edge to line them up straight. Marked with a pencil and drilled my holes used a whole tube of clear silicone on all the holes. It's POURING here right now and no leaks. I wired into the parking light harness on the back of the main switch. Then tested them up. I used sticky foam tape to tape the harness to the headliner and A-pillar. Then walla. I love them. They grow on me more and more. I'm goin to wire them to a strobe controller so they will strobe .

From everything I've read, it's pretty damn close to what the production truck will look like.

Only thing that I am sceptical about is what about people who use these trucks on job sites? With the supposed electronic grille and wheels that are all powered that open and close to improve fuel economy. What happens when mud and stuff gets in the wheels and messes with those electronics? I admit it is a cool idea, I just feel like they wouldn't be too suited for the job site, which is what the truck is intended for, especially with the built in ladder rack and everything.

Valid point. And what about the people that go offroading? I'm sure there would be some issues with all the mud and water. I've had my rims close to fully submerged before crossing creeks
