Default 04-07 winch mount

I know there are those full replacment bumpers out there, from $1000 and up, plus powdercoat, shipping, and install unless you do it yourself.
i have been designing and finally test fit mine this weekend. With mine, the only thing you have to do i remove your tow hooks, and bolt everything in place!

just wondering what you guys thought. during tax season i plan on getting a 12,500lbs winch and test it out! so anyways let me know what you guys think. think it will hold? we shall find out

would anyone be interested in one?
this is not a finished product at all!!! it still needs bracing, grinding the welds down- it is all welded on the inside with very solid welds- outside had a bead ran on it simply to be able to have a nice smooth finish once grounded, and powder coating.

mine serves the same function but not as fancy, and considerably cheaper and should still have the same abilities

The warn hidden winch is made for the 04-05 yrs, prior to the front bumper change. I believe that since the 06-08 have the bumper going over the air dam now, this is the cause for it not working. I bet you could easily fab up some fairleads to just pertrude (large word, i know) in front of the bumper and have just them exposed. Nice custom box though. A bit bulky for me, but I bet its functionality is unimaginable (winch mount, engine bay step, etc).

Wow I really do like the hidden setup.

I have to agree with VanoFord, the op's is a little to bulky for my tastes, but it might serve as a good protective point for deer, etc.

Interesting.. lil to bulky for my tastes. But it's all about being functional. If it works, that's what matters! I always liked the bumper replacements and having the winch hidden in the bumper replacement. But those $1000+ pricetags are pretty tough to swallow. But most of those big bumpers are hidious.
