2008 5.4 passenger side upstream 02 sensor plug coming from main harness melted to my manifold. Can the wires be connected directly? From 02 wires are black, grey, white, and white.. From the main harness wires are red with white stripe, red with yellow stripe, grey with red stripe, and brown... No idea what goes where....... Any ideas???

I am not sure on the top of my head the wiring,BUT if you have the Haynes book or equivalent.it will show you the wiring and colors of the wires. Ignore the connector it will show and just tie them together per the schematic. To answer your question;you can eliminate the connector and hook them up straight BUT when you need to replace the 02 sensor it will not be a plug and play situation obviously.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
