That's my hang up too. I love my stock 20s but you can't beat the zone lift in my opinion after my research. I also have shyd away from wheel spacers. The longer I run my stock tires and wheels that's less cash I'm throwing away also in my mind. I'm leaning heavy toward xd addict wheels with nitto trail grapplers. I definatly need the aggressive tires tho.

Was the 1 inch extra height enough to eliminate your rubbing issues? I'm rubbing the metal bumper and about 3 inches of my painted fender flares on the backside. I'm thinking about putting bilstein 5100s in. I don't know how everyone drives around with 20x12s and not loose their minds from rubbing or taking a plasma cutter to there metal bumpers.

I trimmed the plastic piece against the cab, and the plastic under the front bumper with a razor knife. My 20x12's don't rub at all. I have the 6" RCX with bilsteins set at 1.5".

Yea,it took care of the bumper and flare clearance but I still trimmed the front plastic dam under the bumper.All good now.

Ya a lot of guys on Instagram say my wheel combo fit without rubbing after minor trimming. Did you install an extra leaf in the rear to bring the back up. I'm thinking the bilstein route is the best solution, just sucks I just installed he lift and will now have to send it back in and send it for another alignment.

I can definitely see those flares being an issue, but I wouldn't expect the front to rub badly. I've done tons and tons of searching 20x10 -24s and how they fit, and no one has said they rubbed anywhere near that bad at the front of the fenders.

I'm planning on/budgeting for an NFAB pre-runner bumper to try and clear 20x12s with 8" of lift on my 2WD. That gives me a lot more clearance that I think I'll need. But I'm not expecting it to be as bad as yours is with those 20x10s. 20x12s stretch the tires, making them noticeably shorter, and have 1/4" more backspacing to suck them in just that little bit more. But if something happens and I end up with 20x10s, I'm expecting them to clear just fine. Something's going on with your truck.

No,sure haven't ...still sitting in my shop.Between working @ Goodyear and the farming season now going full swing I haven't had the time just yet.
Yea that sucks taking it backin but to be honest I have a good friend that owns an laser alignment/tire shop.After putting in the Daystars he told me to watch the wear on the tires and how it drives before bringing mine back.After a couple hundred miles my conscious got to me,took it back to re-align ....wasn't much of a change to really worry with it.I still try when I post about my lift w/ my wheel & tire combo,mention adding 1" to the front during install.

Thanks Mikey.. I have thought about that but from what I read I can't run a 35 on the stock rim with the lift. I did the lift this weekend took me about 13 hours doing it on my own and got the alignment on Sunday. Now I just have some squeaks to find and get them worked out. I love the ride I think it's tons better then stock.

This thread was a great find for me after searching for months about this lift. I have the zone leveling kit on my 2012 and love it. I just called SBC and their pricing blows anywhere else out of the water, props to whoever figured that out, and thank you very much.

I'm in the same basket as you regarding wanting to run the stock 20s with the lift. My question for you is how is the truck riding currently with the stock 20s and tires? I'm curious how much room there really is there, and if running a 295/60r20 trail grappler would somehow work. If not, I'll be adding 1.25" billet adapters to allow for this to work, but would love to not have to do so. Let me know your feedback on what it looks like behind the wheel there with the lift on and stock rims. The truck looks killer!
