zone f10 lift

Whos got the zone offroad f10 six inch lift kit on their truck? Do you like it? I stuck between them or Rough Country. I have had RC lifts and never an issue with them maybe I got lucky. Lets hear and see what you have.

Zone is the sister company of BDS. They are good quality.

Yep,got that kit and love it.Easy install, rides great & looks great. I researched weeks on end,had it narrowed down, contacted SBC Off-road and got this kit for about what a spacer kit cost.So for me,this kit is all good

Just got mine installed 2 weeks ago. I got it professionally installed and the tech couldn't say enough things about the quality and fit of the zone kits. He told me he's done 500 plus lifts and he ranks them up with the big dogs ie bds, pro comp and fabtech. I mentioned I was looking into the rcx and he said there a lower quality, they don't have the replacement struts, and they don't fit together well. I was talked out of it for the extra 200 dollars for the zone. For ride quality it's actually amazing. I feel it rides better then stock, soaks up the terrible spring canada roads, only difference is the stiffness of suspension on hard bumps. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 6 inch kit.

Ok great looks like a solid company with a solid product. did you have to drill the knuckles out for the caliper mounting bolts. I know Ford went to larger ones at some point. Mines a 2012 so I'm sure I'll have the bigger ones. Do you keep the dust shells or does that go away also? Thanks for all the great info so far.

My truck is a '11 and didn't have to drill the knuckles. And yes,the dust shields stay. You only drill one hole for the top diff mount after you cut the frame pocket on the driver side(most kits require this). This allows for the diff housing clearance. Some kits you have to whack off the top diff mount :(. .....these two steps are important, take your time. After doing this ,the install is pretty much a breeze.

Mikey your truck looks great. I guess now i have to find the best price on that lift and get it here and installed. Im going to run my stock 20s with my stock tires for now as im undecided on the wheels I want. I really like the wheels on your truck also. I have a lift and a large two bag garage to work in so I think the install will be a breeze to get done and save the labor cost to put towards the wheels.

Thanks! That's the way to do it and it helps if you got a friend that can help you out.FYI....I should say also I'm running a 1" Daystar in the front as I had a slight rub on bumper w/these wheels (-24) 325/65-18 Nitto Dunes. The CV's and upper arms still are at a nice angle though.

Well here is the update. Made a few calls and SBC was the cheapest around that i could find. Its just a bit more then a spacer kit and I think ill be a lot happier with this lift then another. So in about two weeks I should be able to get some photos up of the truck. Thank you for the SBC tip Mikey73 ++++1
