I thought I'd be pretty close once I got my wheels/tires/topper/grille all done in the last month. there was a point where I was pretty sure the only other things I wanted were some flush-mount lights in the rear and to do the full Kicker audio upgrade.

but if I'm doing the flush mount lights, I want to add a switch to run them as a stand-alone as well as with the reverse lights. and then I might as well add a whole switch panel to override the AMP steps, and run some other things I might add.

and now that I've got the wheels and tires on, I'm suddenly thinking it might be worth going to a 4" lift and coilovers. and I'm also thinking the stock exhaust looks too small with 35's, so I definitely need at least a different tip, but maybe I should just go with a catback. and while I'm at it, I do still want to do catless downpipes. and at that point I might as well do the aFe charge pipes and stage 2 intake to get things looking better under the hood.

that's how my brain works and that's why nothing I'll ever own will ever be 'done' lol.

I am done with the outside, lift, lights, tires, power steps, grill, blacked out badges, muffler delete. Inside kicker upgrade, reverse cam mirror, tint. I only have one thing left that is ordered and on its way, a procharger for the engine. Then I will be complete

Great post by the way. It's hard to know when you are complete, but it's fun when you get there and can just keep her clean and enjoy.

I know I'm close but I'm wondering what's your idea of done is?
Right after our wives buy their last pair of shoes, the trucks will be finished.

A pro charger would be awesome. What does that run? And I've always wanted the power steps but I'll be damned if I'll pay 1200 for something I step on like 4 times a day.

The pro charger itself was $5600. When I bought my truck it was a left over 2014 for $32,500 new otd. I went with the stx also because I knew I could make it just the way I wanted it and meanwhile save some big $ from the higher end models. I had my eye on the procharger before I even made the purchase.

As for the steps I was not sure about them either. My buddy owns a shop and does all the work on my truck. He really talked up the steps and convinced me. They are really nice to get in and out of the truck especially with the 4" lift. What I like even more is the clean look they provide.

Thanks for the reply brother. Make sure you post some pics of your pro charger installed. I'm super curious but 5600 may land me in a divorce. Lol Love the clean look of the power steps but the price tag scares me. I'll keep looking for totaled platinums at the local wrecking yard for a good deal.

I think I've about hit that point where I am done and will list my truck for sale locally, albeit a Procharger does sound a bit enticing...
