Default Young Ford's 1/2 off half pricing

Saw an ad this morning for Young Ford while in the gym. Drive for Half Special - 60th Anniversary an so on...I check the website and they only have 30 2012's in stock, 0 FX4's, 2 lariats, and the rest XLT and STX.

Saw I find a 2012 XLT Crew 4X4 listed at 40k dropped to 31,xxx. See the pictures and vehicle page. I owe 25,500 and trade in is nearly 22,000

I asked the dealer for his best price on the truck and he said this is it. Does this look right?

I know, another "help me with this truck post" but may end up doing this if the numbers are right.

I would think they could do better, but that's purely speculation.

I got my 2012 XLT Scab with some random features + console for 21.5 otd

$31k isn't exactly half off from $40k lol. If they'll only give u $22k for ur truck and sell u the new one for $31,645, you'll still be in the hole by $3k. In reality, you'll be paying $34,645 plus TTL. I personally don't think that it's worth it. I was in the same boat as u and I came to the conclusion that it would be smartest to just pay off my truck then get another later

Yeah that's what I'm running into as well. They raised the MSRP on lariats to over 50k and came down around 9.

Even if I financed again with ford and got the $750 coupon there is no way around having to put down a couple k's.

If u really want/need a new truck, wait til the 2013's come closer to being released. They'll be doing all that they can to get rid of their 2012 stock

Gotcha, that sounds about right. I know they'll
come down more, probably why they are advertising like this, get traffic an sell before they have to drop more.

Half of 40k isn't 31k but are they also going to add $7500 in rebates too so it would be closer to $23k?

31 is including all rebates, another dealer in town is doing $11 off MSRP. 2012 XLT crew 4X4.

What do you think?
