Default Yet another Tonneau thread....

Looking for opinions here...

Features I like : Tri-fold with front entry. Weather proof that doesn't leak.

Extang EnCore - heard this leaks but those threads are from back in 09... Any newer EnCore owners that don't have leak issues?

Fold-A-Cover - Looks nice, but just heard back from the manufacturer it doesn't leak 95% of the time....

Bak Fibremax - Does not have a front entry, but seems to be leak free?

Any guidance would be great!

No cover is guaranteed leak free. I have done tons of research, they all possibly leak a little. Only kind that will not leak are covers like a Leer 550 or ARE, they go over the sides and tailgate.

rfeltman41 -- What does "leak a little" mean? Just a couple of drops?

The same cover in different trucks will vary if they leak or not. Some members on here have those covers and they never leak and some have the same cover and they get wet inside during every rain. You have to ask yourself what you are putting in the bed and are you ok with any water getting in there. For instance, I put a Peragon cover on my truck and thought I was ok with a little water getting in, well I wasn't . I sold the cover. By a little I mean some only get a few drops in, are you ok with that?

I have a soft roll up, the little tracks in our bed liners will be slightly damp usually two of them on heavy storms. Other then that nothing, its not enough water to even feel it really its wetter looking then something thats dry.

I went cheap with the Lund snap on cover soft roll-up and I have been nothing but happy with it. I have never noticed any water in the bed and it was a relatively easy install. Just don't try to snap all of the buttons on in the middle of winter..... For the price though, I really can't complain. The 6 1/2' cover was $233 shipped from Amazon.
