I told my wife this morning I was going to order the Green Gem Lariat. This after noon I told her the XLT.......................when this is over, me and my dealer both will need therapy, mine long term.

Love my 2012 XLT. Saved $5k over the Lariet. Added the XLT center console and I use the space in front of it when traveling. Only thing I wish it had is the Camera. However my last truck (1998 F-150) didn't have one so I'll get over it. Wife wanted Lariet but I just couldn't see it. Too nice to "hurt" by using it as a truck.

You'll be happy with either one as they are both great.

That's the beauty of Green Gem! On a cloudy or low-light day, it looks black.

In the sunlight, BAM! Green!

...and its rated as the least popular color. Some dealers don't even have one, well maybe only 1 on the whole lot.

hey Mkoeh475, I can't find anything online about ac vents on the XLT seats. I see you have a 2012 XLT, do you mean there are vent openings under the seat, or an actual ac vent under the seat?

You can get an xlt with 2 tone paint from the factory too.

Get what you want chief, you are the one writing the check!

tlynn, sounds to me that you're liking the XLT more. What about engine, I didn't see an engine choice for you. Eco, 5, 3.7? I could live with either one of these engines!

I LOVE REAL leather! My '02 Lariat doesn't seem to be real leather. My 70 lb hound goes with me about everywhere, and has never hurt the Lariat seats. But, me? Hey, I'd get a King Ranch! I just love high end!

Oh, and I saw the Green Gem at dealer the other day - looks just like the photo above. I thought it was black until the salesman told me.
