Default XLT Steering Wheel Upgrade

Hey folks,

Maybe this has already been done but its an easy and not so bad $ upgrade. My 2010 F150 XLT steering wheel starting falling apart a few months ago so I checked out the Tasca Ford site. I did not want to go with the same XLT wheel so I bought the Lariat version. Hopefully it will last a bit longer! The color is spot on and it looks and feels better I think.

Below is the link to the parts page;

http://www.tascaparts.com/parts/2010...agramCallOut=1

Under $200 with tax and shipping and paid Dealer $85 to install.

The old one probably wasn't leather wrapped. Also, the super duties with leather wheels had a different plastic texture than the super duties without. Not sure if the 09-10 F150s were that way.

Sorry. Forgot to take a picture of the "before". It was a cheap cast rubber covered steering wheel similar to the XL Model. It began to delaminate and the color coating wore off.

It's great that you can swap out the wheels. Are you able to up grade though? So that one without stereo controls could get a new wheel with the stereo controls? Sorry for the typos I'm on my phone.

Prob not quite. My xlt looks really similar, but mine is rubber, and does not have the stitching you can see in his photo.

I like it OP
