Default Xcal 2

I have a SCT xcal 2 that I used on my Ranger. If I get a new tune will that programmer work on my '11 5.0L?

Not trying to be rude when I say this but your best bet in a question like this is to call the manufacturer and ask.

Don't think it will. You need an SCT X3 that will start with X3 on the back serial number. The older version X3 and X2's won't work on 2010 up vehicles as there is a difference in the PCM programming.

You can call SCT to confirm though to be 100% sure.

So, I talked to the guys at SCT and they told me that the Xcal 2's will not work on trucks 2009 and newer.
