Nobody got hurt. This happens on when a truck meets a 2" steel sign post @ 70 mph. It happened on Aug-11, but won't even go to the body shop until Sept-3, because of insurance adjuster dragging his feet. Funny thing is, it still drives perfect!

$8300 is the estimate from the body shop, but it will cost more, mostly because I plan on repainting the whole truck, instead of having one third of my truck look new and the rest have rock chips and scratches.

No, I like doing them myself so I'll wait until I get it back.

Good no-one was hurt, may I ask how your truck met a "2" steel sign post @ 70 mph." ? Looks like the wheel didn't get any damage.

Glad no one was hurt.. How was that 8000 in damage though? My truck got hit on the passenger side 400 miles after I bought it and they had to pull the rocker panel back out on the cab and a whole new door for the passenger front and the a new skin on the rear and a new right front window and of course repair the right front fender and repaint everything and repair my right front rim that got a chunk took out of the bead and cost was like 4-5000 I believe?... Regardless glad everyone is ok

I'm gonna go with "trajectory calculation error".

Good to hear nobody was hurt.
