Ok no guarantees but this for me increased my mpg from 13.5 to 33.5 going 42mph with cruise!!! That is the most drastic change but my mpg is all the way around amazing right now, going 65mph I get 22-23mpg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First thing first I drive a 2012 Platinum Supercrew Ecoboost so I don't know how this will work for other engines or year models.
Driving the truck off of the lot I was getting average of about 17-18mpg. So the other day I haul a trailer on a 3 hour trip using tow/haul. I drove 60mph the entire time and was getting 15mpg and satisfied. The next day I dropped the trailer went down the highway and was getting 13mpg going 45 and had no idea what was wrong.
After doing some research I came across a thread saying turn the Trailer Sway Control off in the settings on the dash. So I did and reset my mpg and was instantly getting outrageous mpg!!! I'm not an expert by any means to I called the dealership and explained everything as I just did for yal. And I will share what the man told me.
He explained to me that what he believes to have happed. The trucks computer periodically runs check ups to say. It reads all the information from your driving habits and applies changes that it sees fit. He told me the only thing he can think of it that the truck ran one of these test while I was pulling the trailer and applied the changes. So when I dropped the trailer it was not adjusted right. He was amazed when I told him about the change I had by cutting of the sway control though and had no real answer for that. But he said he believes it bc sway control applies the brakes. He did tell me though to unhook my negative cable from the battery for about 15-20min and this will erase the trucks current code and when I plug it up and drive it again it will run a new test to adjust. And as far as the sway control he said run it all day with it cut off if your getting better mpg. BUT there is a downside.... Ford has not found a way using mykey to bypass the sway control so every time you cut your truck off and back own it will reset the sway control back to own so you have to go to setting and cut it off every time you crank your truck but I can live with that getting the mpg I am getting now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I said earlier I have no idea if this will work on other F150's and it might only be drastic for the ecoboost but as far as mine goes I promise you that this is all 100% truth!!!
Hope this helps works for yal and put some $$$$ in your pockets!!!!!!

I thought this was going to be an advertisement for those little "chips" that are really resistors. You know, the ones that "ADD 100+ Horsepower and 20mpg! $60"
Hell, the other day I zeroed the MPG when I was at 70 mph, and by the time I exited and stopped at the light, it said 99.9 mpg! LOL
