Won’t Crank
Hi All
New to the forum. I just purchased a 2013 with 4WD and 5.0 needing some repairs. 175k miles
I dropped the front axle, replaced the oil pan gasket, replaced the AC evaporator, condenser and heater core (dashboard out).
Now I’ve buttoned everything back together, the truck won’t crank. There’s an audible click from the relay in passenger side kick panel.
My my code reader won’t connect to the truck. It says “operating error”
So so far I’ve switched the starter relay, checked a few thousand fuses and verified there is power to the starter (but no power to solenoid while turning key). I’ve also fiddled under the dash to look for something obviously unplugged.
The car car will shift out of park. I’ve tried starting in neutral. The check engine light comes on which I believe means the ecu is getting power.
Theres several warnings on the dash including
Service advancetrac
Low oil pressure
Remove objects near passenger seat
Engine overtemp
Check 4x4
Hill decent control fault
Starting system fault
Does anyone have any idea what I can try next? I hate the idea of towing the truck to the dealer.
