Default Wiring problems for rear left door.

Good afternoon yall, this is my first post.

I have a 2013 ford f150 xlt supercab, I’m having problems with the wiring harness in the rear driver door. I have had the wires in the door jam fixed before but now I just want to buy a new wiring harness fort the door and replace it. When I search for the harness I find the one I think I need but here’s the problem. All the harness have a plug on the truck side of the door jam and when I look at my truck it does not. My door is wired directly to the truck. If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.

thank you

Ive never seen a rear door harness for a Super Cab, only for Super Crew. Super Crew rear door harnesses are everywhere cheap unless you have rear heated seats. Im afraid you will have to just repair your harness like before. As far as I can tell its only purpose is to raise and lower the rear window and maybe door speakers if it has them.. On SuperCrew it is for window motor, window switches, door latch and lock actuator, rear speakers, door ajar switch and in the case of Platinum rear heated seat switches so there are a lot more wires to try to fix and a replacement harness is the best fix there.

I looked at my 2013 manual and read about removing the rear door on our supercabs.
The manual states if you don't have the plug, to pull the entire wire harness out from the door prior to removing the door.
That is also the same on some front doors as some came with the plugs and some didn't.
I don't know when Ford changed and added or deleted the connector.

Maybe you can work with that harness and adapt it to your main harness?
Just a thought, without seeing what you have to work with.
I might have to check mine out.
Good luck.

thank you for the input, the problem I have is that my wires are broken and the window and the speaker doesn’t work on the rear drivers door, I guess I will just have to rewire it since I can’t replace the wiring harness

I would pull the rear corner trim and be sure the connector isn't back there or maybe that could be where you start your new wire splice.
You are going to have to get in there at some point.
I would open that up, it might help you with your plan.
Plus you can still drive it as needed.
I had my headliner out for a few months chasing a water leak.

My 2009 supercrew doesnt have that connector but ford later added it in the following years but it was located in the center post between the doors.

May be helpful
