WIRING PROBLEMS 2012 Platinum
Abourt 2 months ago I posted that my vehicle died on the expressway, and it turned out to be that the wiring harness under the hood and the fuse block under the hood fried/melted, whatever you want to call it. This was @ around 59,000 kms. Last week my interior lights turned on when I went to close the power slider. They then wouldn't shut off, and I had to pull the fuse to get them to shut off. It turned out that the wiring harness under the headliner fried. The vehicle is out of warranty now @ 71,000 kms. Ford wouldn't do anything, @ I reluctantly paid the bill, which was around $800.00. Makes me wonder what's next.
Hope this is the end of the problems. I put on between 50 & 60 K a year, so even the extended warranty doesn't do me a lot of good. What's next, a Dodge?
