I'm going to add some white led's under the doors of the truck for courtesy lights. I'm going to wire them into the dome lights so they come on and off when I unlock the truck from the key fob. I've searched and found several answers, but nothing definitive.

Just looking to see if anyone has done this and could give me a heads up before hunting under the sills with a test light.


Also any suggestions for led's? Plan on ordering them today so I can install them next weekend. No Recon products.

 

Each front door has a solid violet wire coming from the kick panels to the connector at the mirror...this wire is also used for the puddle lights.
