Windshield wiper won't shut off

My wipers will not shut off, staying in the slowest intermittent position. Any one else experience this?

Multifunction switch is bad.

What Rnlcomp said. I had mine acting up. Haven't switched it yet but I have the Motorcraft switch ready for when it does crap out.

Mine did the same thing last year. Got the turn signal arm assy and changed it out in less than half an hour. Not very expensive either.

I'm on my second Motorcraft replacement multifunction switch and tonight the wipers would not shut off again, so tomorrow I'll get another one from the dealer. Just rolled 55k miles.

i drive a company leased 2012 F150 base model with 60,000 miles that is doing this . Thought I would do a search if there is a solution, tried turning off "courtesy wipe" , tried tapping, hammering, jiggling, wringing out like a rag, Wd-40, electrical cleaner,
next option would be drop it off at a dealer for a few weeks and jump through hoops
think I will just look for the fuse , which will be a pain because it rains a lot here

I paid under $30 for my switch, then just a few screws and it is replaced. Worth doing it yourself than taking it to the stealership.

I changed it on my sons truck in about 20 minutes. Very quick and easy.

I noticed that most of the switch replacements on E-bay are in the $20 range, but if you read the fine print it says "for rain sensing type"
a search for non-rain sensing ones has very few of them and they are in the over $35 price range

I bought mine from Ford and it was around $40. I can't remember the exact amount. I have never used the aftermarket part.
