Default Window wiring problem?

Well this is almost pretty funny. I took my truck down to a local shop to have them drill some holes in the door molex connector on my 2013 fx4. i need to run some wires for my new trailer mirrors. after they finished drilling. my passenger side window stopped functioning properly. on the passenger side door the window works fine. however if i use the main controls on the driver side door the window will only go down and not up. now i don't mean the up button isn't working its just that if i hit the switch for it to go up its still goes down. the tech checked all the wiring and there isn't any nicks in the cable anywhere. but i don't think a cut or nicked cable is the problem. if that was the case the button wouldn't work at all. i purchased a subscription for my truck on alldatadiy.com but they only had the diagrams for the 2012 and not the 13 so i don;t know if the wiring harness colors have changed. the tech thought when he was drilling he may have touched 2 of the connectors and that would have sent a shock to the ecm. but when i checked the diagrams. this harness doesn't appear to go to the ecm. it just goes to an accessory delay relay in the BCM. but that can't be it because that just feed s a power inline into the window control switch on the door and everything else is fine. also according to the diagrams he wasn't drilling anywhere near the pins that control the window function on the molex plug. however there is already a bit of green corrosion around the connectors for the controls.

So any idea's. and would the harness be the same for the 2012 and the 2013. the only reason i ask is that there appears to be 8 wires coming out of the connector in the diagram but there is only 4 coming out of my switch.

Maybe the wire is damaged in the area of the work or on the switch

There is a small nick in the wire at the location of the switch itself where i can see the copper inside however i don't understand how this could be the problem. in the diagrams i have it shows no other computers or electrical pieces between my main switch and the passsenger window motor which means that the wire is just feeding power to the motor and not to another switch. now on the 2012 diagram it shows that the brown and yellow wire feeds power to the passenger window up. however on my 2013 there is only 4 wires coming out of the switch instead of the 8 that are shown. on the 2012 diagram. now if the wire is damaged shouldn't that just mean it wouldn't feed any power. which is not the case the wire is still sending a signal but to the wrong function.

The nick is ur starting point. If enough the wire wont conduct enough current. Start trouble shoot with that circuit ? Coincidence u lost good ground from corrosion

I thought the nick would be a good place to start but something still doesn't make sense. if it is a ground problem or the nick in the wire then the wire shouldn't be sending current. but it is still sending current to the motor. but for some reason the motor is receiving the wrong signal or the motor itself has been damaged and is reading the signal wrong. I switched out the master control on the driver side and i'm getting the same problem so it isn't the switch on the driver side.

Motor just works poorly/not at all with poor ground or weak power. U think motor is bad but new motor doesnt fix it. Pull kick plate and diagnose. An aggriculture seal neam light will be enough current draw to diagnose power / ground. Check ur ground for loose connection at frame/ body screw. Gm was good at corrosion in fuse block. Even water on body module.
