Just picked up my 13 Platinum last weekend and have it scheduled to have the front windows tinted this afternoon at lunch.

Concerned that my new front tint wont match the rest of the truck. Guy at the tint shop said 20% is what they usualy do on f150's but ive seen everything from 15% to 35% on here for the 'factory match'.

Have been looking at pictures all morning but still undecided. I only want to get it done if its done right and its done to match whatever is on the back as closely as possible...

My 20% has no difference. It's a perfect match.

SOOO nervous with this being my first 'mod' to my truck.

How much are folks paying to have the front two tinted?

Yeah, 20% matches on mine too. The only difference I can tell between the two is at night when I unlock the doors. When standing outside of the truck, you can tell the tint isn't the same type by the way the light comes through the tint, but not a big deal.

Took this pic the same day I bought it (Saturday). Not tinted in the picture but the look is what inspired me to look into this in the first place.

I think seventy buck sounds about right, but he was going to charge me $100 to remove the stuff the dealer put on that didn't match. I talked him into throwing it in for free since he was also doing my InvisiBra.

If I remember right, dealer did mine for 45 bucks for the front doors and 35 for the eye brow...

20% will be the closest match to factory. Factory is normally 24% on most vehicles. From more than 5 feet away you will never be able to see the difference between the two. If you have inspections in your state you should check the legal limit. Here in NC its hard to get it inspected if darker than 32% (legal limit).

I got 15% only because the sun shines more through the front windows (windshield) than the rear. It still matches and with sunlight happening I think it matches more often.
