I pulled the old tint on my front two windows and had the whole truck done with ceramic tint last week... the rear tint has no heat reflection, so it gets hot as you know what.

Ceramic all the way around, and I had em do the moonroof too... its night and day difference. I can keep the moonroof open all day and the heat doesn't come thru, same of the rest of the truck.

If you can do it, I recommend doing all the windows on the truck if you are in a hot state

50% isn't even legal? Tell me again what makes Cali so awesome? Is it this? Or is it the power robbing emissions added to your car? Is it the insanely high taxes?

What tint is legal there?

Don't like it, then dont live there. I live in California and don't have any tiny on the front windows. As a LEO, I cite for tint all the time. If I can't see you at night, it presents a safety issue for me. If you can hardly see through your 5% front at night, that's a safety issue for everyone else on the road. When living in Arizona, I had 15% on the fronts and 50% on the entire windshield. I would have to roll the windows down in dark areas so I could see the road. It was a major safety issue. It came off soon after being installed.

If someone hits me or my family and has illegally tinted windows, you can bet that I will take them to civil court and push the negligence issue.

15% on front and 5% brow this summer I plan to try to get medical tint exemption and throw 35 on windshield with the brow still there and go to 5% on fronts and then put 20-35% on backs to match the fronts. Here is the way it is now not the best pics

70% is a bit dramatic. I have 20% on my front windows and have never had a problem seeing out of them. 20% is not a safety issue unless you have vision problems. And at that point you probably shouldn't be on the road at night. The California government just like to control people which is why I don't live there and why many people and businesses are leaving. 5% is a bit excessive. 20% is just fine. 70% and it wasn't even worth the money you spent.

If you had problems seeing with what you had, removing the 50% on the windshield would have made a world of difference. There is no state that legally allows for the entire windshield to be covered because you can't see. If you had removed that tint alone you would have been able see just fine with what you had on the sides.

By the way, if you can't see through anything darker than 70%, I hope you never wear sunglasses. The highest percentage of light that Oakley allows to pass through it's lenses that do any good in the sun is 28%. And those aren't the best in bright sunlight. Getting down into the 9-10% are the best for bright light situations. It you truly understand light filtering and how it works, you understand that most current laws are not in place to help you to see at night. They are in place so the police can see in as they drive past.

And what exactly does a horoscope sign name have to do with tint on your windows?

Oh ya for all y'all here's a trick you can try to use when you get pulled over if you aren't pulled over for the tint in the first place jus put front window always down that's what I will have to do when I get truck inspected in next few years. But if you are getting pulled over for the tint then just say you didn't know legal you just said to match the backs that's what we do down here but it only works the first time because instead of the $155 tickets we can get here we jus get a warning the first time and told to change itor have to peel it off right infront of the cop then next time you get the fat ticket. I've been lucky so far and haven't gotten any tickets or warning for it but one of my buddy's for 4 tickets for his windshield over like 3 weeks
