Window Switch Trouble
Good Evening,
I have a 2012 f150 platinum and my rear passenger side window switch stopped rolling the window down but will roll it up. I can also roll it down from the drivers seat but it can be a little annoying when people in my back seat arent able to adjust the window themselves. Has anyone else had this problem and know what it could be? Since its a minor inconvenience id rather not shell out 50$ + for a window switch.

You need to do a search on this forum about broken wires in the harness at the door Jamb. A very common problem with our trucks, symptoms included false alarms, intermittent lock and intermittent window operation.
im pretty sure I've been bitten also by this bug, on my reg cab, the lock button on the passenger door doesn't work, the unlock button does, and both functions on the driver's door work.

fixed my 2013 and my sil 2010 on the drivers side bundle when you open the door. you can observe the wires with the trouble by the burn spots. corrosion causes it to work sometimes, pull on the wires and they break. piece them out and put heat shrink.
