Default Window lockout switch

Does anyone know if the window lockout switch is supposed to light up? I have a 2011. The switch I'm talking about is the one that overrides the other doors window switches. I'm really not sure if I just never noticed that it didn't light up or if it went out.

I believe it does when its it unlock mode, but doesnt? When in Lock mode, and when lock mode is on all the other doors light controlls are off except for drivers door!

The back doors turn on and off when I flip the switch but the switch itself does not light up in either position. Does that sound right?
