Will Bambi Mod work on 2011?

The fog light relay was in the passenger footwell fuse box, pre 2009.
2009+, the fog light relay is integrated into the body control module. It's a sealed module that controls lots of functions. No separate relay, no pins to bend over. No Bambi mod.
I suppose theoretically one could remove and open the non-serviceable BCM, then solder in some jumpers if they could figure out where, but that would be an awfully drastic measure to accomplish what you could do with a simple independent fog light switch.

2011 Lariat Screw EB
Random question, never had fog lights, do they last as long as headlights. I like having them on all the time (when the headlights are on) will they burn out much faster?

Can't speak to your Lariat but in my XLT all I have to do is pull out the light switch to have the fog and regular lights on at the same time. If fact this works with the auto-on function. The nice part is because there is a separate indicator for the fog lamps I can tell if my headlights are on during the rain.

I don't remember which vehicle I had that did this, but you know when you pull the lever to turn on the hi beams, and it clicks them on, I found that if you hold it and don't let it go back to the normal position, that both the low and hi beams were on at the same time. It might have been the Chevy Trailblazer we have at work. It makes a world of difference. I don't think this would work on a single multi-filament bulb. The trailblazer has a separate bulb and housing for hi and low.
Now that I'm thinking about it, it might be my current Dodge Dakota, crap I can't remember. Not that it really matters.

Adding a relay is the easiest and best way to do this. I tried a diode and the volts dropped bc the high beams were powering four lights instead if two. With a relay, you can use the high beam as the "switch" and power the relay with a wire directly from the battery.
