Default Why Pro-Comp?

I've notice at the dealerships in my area that pro comp is the only lift put on the new trucks. Is this just my area or are all the dealerships doing this? Why would they just use pro comp?

In Dothan, Alabama at Bondy's Ford they had some with Pro Comp. This weekend I stopped in at Gary Smith Ford in Ft.Walton Beach ,Florida, and they just lifted one using Skyjacker. I think it's just a preference.

4 wheel parts does a lot of them for the Ford dealers. My local 4wheel parts said they have a shop in Florida that just does lifts for Ford dealers on east coast. I assume there is more profit to be made using the Pro Comp kits.

I think 4WP owns Pro Comp, so makes sense that they would push their own stuff. I had one of their lifts on my Jeep. It was ok. Nothing great. Ran it for like two years then upgraded to something better. Their tires are pretty good though. The Jeep is on it's second set of 35" mud terrains and both sets have been great on road and off.

Pro Comp tires are made by Cooper Tire.

I was just curious because we don't have a 4 wheel parts in my area. Most of the shops around here push BDS and rough country.
