Dude, I even made sure to word that properly, so that, just in case you were serious, you wouldn't be offended!! Hahahaha!!! I've been called a smart *** numerous times for correcting wrong info, so now I be careful as to how I reply.

Ok ok, Im sorry. I was playing. Good to know about the fuel filter. Yeah, plugs in these things go until 100,000.00 miles. No cap, rotors, or wires here. Direct coils only. Just go by your manual.

Now I have a question. Whats the deal with the plugs on the 09 10 5.4's? Do they do like the older engines. Break off and cost 1000 dollars to have removed?

Don't forget to check the crank plug to see if any mud dobbers have nested in it. Would hate to have to use the crank to get it started and the hole is plugged up!

I will try to give you a little bit of wisdom...have you tried letting your vehicle/motor warm up to normal operating temperature, then being careful to not burn your little hands...naturally with the motor off, then trying to remove the old plugs?

This is an old school trick that's older than the hills. Now for the answer of "Do they do like the older engines. Break off and cost 1000 dollars to have removed" the answer is no and...if they do...then no, not if you know a machinist!

Oh...I forgot to add...this is a great website/forum...I've literally searched every single youtube video in existence to see where the fuel filter is...beings everyone I've spoke (at auto-parts stores, Amazon, and even Summit racing, have told me that "Purolator F65574 Fuel Filter" is "The One" for my 2013 F-150 FX4.

So...thanks to all for this very informative info...so...anyone want to buy an Purolator F65574 Fuel Filter new in the box? I'll make you a good deal, its the right one for everyone who has a 2012+ F150...

Yes yes...I agree...however, you must NOT FORGET, we are all friends here obviously some way shape or form...because we all obviously have interest in the same vechicles...so we must play nice!

Then...above all else, you must remember that things stay around for-ever on the net... I mean look at this thread, Exhibit A: Me yesterday goggling if my truck has a inline filter. This is still around and very useful to me, and I'm sure there's another guy just like me that will find ALL OF THIS THREAD useful.

Have a good one !
