Default Why???

My wife drives a Buick Enclave and has an app for her iPhone that locks, unlocks, remote starts, etc. her car that is totally FREE. Ford has an app and they want to charge for it PLUS a yearly subscription fee! WHY???

Well that's not a Buick only app, it's the onstar app that covers all gm vehicles from 2010 to present

Oh I agree it doesn't make sense, I think it's a bunch of crap that we would have to pay for the app service considering what we pay for our beloved trucks

You have to pay for OnStar I think. You may just get it "free" for a trial period with a new vehicle?

The Ford Remote Access app is also free, you just need to pay for the yearly service.
