Last night at 3 am I witnessed a truck towing a mobile home on a trailer. It's hard to explain but the trailer a lone had 24 tires (12 front and back). Botth the front and rear wheels of the trailer would pivot. He was making a turn at the intersection and it took him about 10 mins to make the turn. A bunch of flaggers who were following in a truck had to get out and stop traffic for him to make the turn.

Man I feel very lucky to easily afford a 2011 fx4 full loaded. And I'm only 22. I'm also married, have a house, 2 cars, quads, jetski, ect. Oh but no kids. Thank god. More money for toys.

Btw towing trailers are so easy. I've been towing since I was 15. Nothing to major biggest load was a 38 foot cig boat I pulled with my old 99 f350. Which was a piece of cake. I think bigger loads are easier to pull than large ones.

Back in 1972 before Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy and even before a lot of you were born I was driving this gasoline tanker. Our motto was drive safe or die!

That even look's worse than hauling gasoline! I drove heavy truck's when I was in the Air Guard back in the Vietnam era. I've been dealing with truck's since 1969!

Yeah I hauled fuel stateside but not overseas. I did haul many many tons of high explosives when we were cleaning out Sadam's ammo dumps though, talk about white knuckle driving.

This pic is of a civilian contractors truck hauling 7500K of JP8 that we were escorting, it got hit with an RPG (driver escaped unhurt)

Not a pretty sight, glad the driver escaped. I hauled a lot of Av Jet A aka kerosene to the airport in New Orleans. 3 load's a night and top it off with a service station delivery. 10 hour or more shift's back then and being a company driver for a major oil company had great benefit's too. I drove untill they shut down the terminal I worked at. My apoligies to the OP for getting me started on trucking.

I cant back a trailer for ****. I can run race tracks in reverse but put a trailor on the back of it and you might as well be throwing me into a a ****ing pilots seat in a airplane. Only really tired 2 times in my whole life but it takes some getting used to.
