Ordered my 2013 on 8/15. That order # at the top of the second page is the last 4 digits of my phone number. The dealer said this is how they know whose it is.

Maybe I am just too cynical with age; however, I just do not believe it, when dealers offer up stuff like this.

I was at my local dealer yeseterday afternoon, trying to see if he had heard something on the Labor Day sale, and/or any news on new 2013 arrivals.

He went to his computer and then told me that he could not see "any new 13's for delivery, [anywhere] within an 800 mile radius, in the next 30 days."

Yeah, Ford is stacking up hundreds, maybe thousands, of new 2013's on vacant lots across America; so they can sit there, get dirty, and not collect any income, as they also depreciate.

Moreover, he swore that he knew nothing about any Labor Day discounts, even as I showed him my email from the dealer in northern CA.

Attatched is my truck order which was submitted on 7/7/12. 1st page top left, order #3000. Still no VIN number, I'll check with the dealer.

Sorry...don't really know the point of your post. Maybe your dealer is dishonest..in that case you should find a new dealer. But my has integrity. I don't doubt my dealer when they say there are not any trucks with exactly my options being delivered. My order is for a Lariat with a very specific options. I'm ok with a long lead time; I'm in no hurry. Plus my dealer offered me a great deal below invoice.

All you guys, closest to the KC plant, will most likely start seeing 13's on lots first.

That's not true. Theres a dealer from the plant 5 miles down the road and they don't even have 13s yet. It's even so close they still use a semi car hauler to take them there instead of drive them.

Closest, as in nearer than Los Angeles, or Seattle; which is a logical statement/observation; some of you guys miss the [larger] points and immediately zoom in on the dot, on top of the i.

I doubt [any] dealer has a '13 yet.
